We are pleased to announce the following seven promotions:
Andrew Schuler, CPA, MSA, to Senior Manager, Tax Services
Andrew started at Corrigan Krause in our Tax Department in 2020, but he’s been practicing accounting since 2014. Prior to joining Corrigan Krause, Andrew worked at Grant Thornton LLP as a state and local income Tax Manager, specializing in income & franchise taxes. He worked in variety of industries, specifically consolidated C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships and multi-tier partnerships. He’s taken that expertise and now works closely with Corrigan Krause clients to consult on a variety of state and local tax issues, as well as with individuals and small businesses to help deliver on their tax needs. Andrew truly enjoys making a difference in the lives and businesses of Corrigan Krause clients’ lives.
Michelle M. Broschk to Billing Manager
In 2007, Michelle joined Corrigan Krause as the Tax Department Administrative Assistant. Since then she has taken over as billing coordinator and became an Executive Assistant. Michelle has over 38 years of experience in administrative positions, including time at Northwest Savings Bank. Michelle helps Corrigan Krause by troubleshooting issues for staff and clients while handling the billing logistics.
Krista L. Evenden to Workflow Manager
Paul C. Columbro, CPA, to Supervisor
Paul joined the Corrigan Krause team in January 2021 as a Senior Associate in our Assurance Services Department. He is highly skilled in public accounting having previously worked at a public firm. Paul efficiently works on Compilations, Reviews, Audits, Employee Benefit Plan Audits, and Consultations. As a CPA, he provides accurate and transparent financial reporting to his each of his clients.
Spencer H. Helwig, CPA, to Supervisor
Spencer is a Senior Associate in the Assurance Services Department. He was involved with the COVID Assistance team and specializes in construction and valuation. Spencer diligently works on Quality of Earnings engagements and completes reviews and compilations for his clients.
Makayla J. Cruz to Senior Associate
Makayla started with Corrigan Krause in January 2021 as an intern and became a full time team member in the Assurance Services Department in June 2022. Prior to joining our team, she completed a tax internship at a public accounting firm where she learnt the ropes of filing taxes. Within accounting, Makayla particularly enjoys the Employee Benefit Plan Audits.
Kelsey M. Yusko to Senior Associate
Kelsey began her journey with Corrigan Krause December 1, 2020 as an Assurance Services Department Associate. She joined the firm after her graduation from college and has progressed from preparing financials and bookkeeping to taking the lead on clients. Kelsey specializes in Employee Benefit audits and construction accounting. She is highly skilled in WIP schedules and cleaning up accounts.
