Makayla started with Corrigan Krause in January 2021 as an intern and became a full time team member in the Assurance Services Department in June 2022. Prior to joining our team, she completed a tax internship at a public accounting firm where she learnt the ropes of filing taxes. Within accounting, Makayla particularly enjoys the Employee Benefit Plan Audits.

Makayla earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University.

When she’s not working hard at the Westlake office, Makayla enjoys painting and woodwork. She is a great cook and baker even though she is a very picky eater. Most of her time outside of the office is spent at home with her boyfriend, dogs, family, and friends.
