Jim Suttie, CPA, is a Director in the Assurance Services department. As a Director in Assurance Services, Jim is an integral member of the Firm’s Quality Management team.

Jim joined Corrigan Krause in May 2023, after practicing at two large regional accounting firms for 28 years. Jim is passionate about helping clients succeed, however they define success, and is especially knowledgeable in the FASB lease accounting standard. In Jim’s experience, he has advised clients in a broad range of areas, including accounting and financial reporting, tax planning and compliance, and general business consulting.  He is licensed to practice public accounting in the states of Ohio, Florida and Hawaii.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree and graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University.

When he’s not helping his clients reach their goals, Jim is keeping active working out, walking, and hiking, all alongside wife Joanne and their Shih-poo puppy Milo. He’s also played bass guitar for over 40 years.
