Ohio Tax Amnesty Program: Apply by February 15 to Avoid Penalties

Resolving a problem like unreported taxes can be a difficult challenge for many taxpayers. Ohio Tax Amnesty is a limited-time opportunity for individuals and businesses to pay qualified back taxes with NO penalties and only HALF of the interest due. It will be available from January 1 to February 15, 2018.

Why Should You Apply?

Amnesty provides the opportunity to pay off your debt with significant cost savings and eliminate the risk of having your tax delinquency discovered by the Ohio Department of Taxation. With unpaid or underreported tax liability, you’re at risk of a sizable penalty, interest and, possibly, collection fees.

Am I Eligible?

If you have unpaid taxes that were due as of May 1, 2017, and have not been contacted by the Department of Taxation about your tax liability, you may qualify.  Taxes that qualify for Ohio Tax
